DSACC Program & Print21 Coordinator
Position Overview:
The Program Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of Down Syndrome Association of Central California (DSACC) Print21 program, a screen-printing initiative empowering individuals with Down syndrome. This role is ideal for a compassionate, organized leader who values quality, teamwork, and fostering independence. In addition to overseeing Print21, the coordinator will also serve as the program coordinator for the other core programs and services provided by DSACC
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Print21 Management:
- Oversee screen printing program, including program training, order processing, quality control, and timely delivery.
- Manage inventory of supplies and coordinate reorders as needed.
- Train and supervise Print21 staff or participants in screen printing tasks.
Program Coordination:
- Assist the Executive Director in planning, executing, and evaluating DSACC programs and services.
- Assist with schedules and management of staff for programs and events.
- Maintain program materials, resources, and schedules.
Administrative Support:
- Perform general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining records.
- Create and distribute program schedules, flyers, and marketing materials.
- Track and report program participation and outcomes.
Fundraising & Events:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising events and activities.
- Provide support for event logistics, volunteer coordination, and participant engagement.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- 2 years experience in screen printing, production management, or a similar field is a plus but not required if the candidate is a good fit.
- Commitment to working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a respectful and empowering way.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy and foster a team-oriented environment.
Position Details:
- Part-time position; schedule to be determined in collaboration with the Executive Director.
- Compensation is hourly between $20-23
