Step Up for Down Syndrome is the Central Valley’s largest Down syndrome awareness event and benefits the vital programs and services offered by Down Syndrome Association of Central California.

The day features a 5K timed run/walk and a 1-mile Awareness Walk at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds. Attendees will also enjoy the festive atmosphere of the day which includes the Down Syndrome Walk of Fame, Kid Zone, Exhibitor Area, Food Court, Face Painters, a trackless train and live entertainment!

Join us at Step Up for Down Syndrome as a walker, sponsor, exhibitor, or volunteer.  Your support allows us to not only host an event that promotes awareness of the abilities and talents of our loved ones with Down syndrome, but to connect families with other families in a fun, affordable and festive setting.  It also provides funds for our organization to continue to offer vital educational, social and support programs and activities for all people whose lives are touched by Down syndrome.

Don’t forget to purchase your Walk of Fame Star for your superstar with Down syndrome!

The Step Up Walk of Fame features 13” x 19” Color posters of our superstars with Down Syndrome will be hung along the Step Up walk route for the whole city to see! To be featured in the Walk of Fame, please mail $25 to DSACC at: 1491 W. Shaw Avenue- Fresno, CA 93711.
You will also need to send a high resolution photo (head shot) of your superstar to info@dsacc.org by October 6, 2017.
* Price includes an extra copy to take home.

Packet Pick Up
Packet pick up available Thursday, October 19, from 1-7 pm & Friday, October 20, from 12-5 pm @ the DSACC Office or at the event. Group registration pick up available. You must notify us if you are picking up packets for 4 or more runners by e-mail by Oct. 7, 2017 at info@dsacc.org.
We will NOT be accepting registrations in the office on Thursday or Friday October 19 & 20, you will have to register at the event please.

SHOW US YOUR STEP UP PRIDE! Teams can compete for the title of “Largest Team”or “Biggest Fundraiser” in the following categories: Individual/Family, School or Business.  One team will be named “Most Spirited” at the event, selected by our guest emcee!  Category winners will be decided by the donations and registrations received in office by October 4, 2017.
The first 4 Individual/Family Teams to raise over $2,000 by October 11, 2017 will win an iPad for their team captain!
