Socials

At DSACC we understand how important it is to connect with the community around us, which is why we love hosting family socials to connect old friends & new!

Be sure to join us for our annual 5 & under gatherings, family festivals, WDSD celebration, Ds Awareness Month celebrations, and so many others!

World Down Syndrome Day 3.21

Every year we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) on March 21 in representation of the 3 copies of Trisomy21- hence 3.21!

Celebrate with the rest of the world by wearing crazy, wacky, silly, many or wild socks! Socks were chosen as the mascot of WDSD because the 21st chromosome looks a bit like a pair of socks!  So when people ask you why you have

on so many socks or such crazy socks, you can tell them it is to raise awareness and celebrate World Down Syndrome Day!

DSACC also has some great WDSD shirts for sale!  Order yours today, or before March 10 so that you can pick it up in time to wear it for 3.21!
