We are so excited to offer our first ever family camp, Camp TRI:21 o March 23-25, 2018!
Camp is full but we are taking families for our waiting list in case we have any cancellations!
Camp TRI:21 is an all inclusive, 3 day camp for families with a child with Down syndrome ages 6-22. Parents, individuals with Down syndrome and siblings will enjoy activities throughout each day designed to strengthen family bonds and have a really great weekend away from home!
Some the activities available are: 200 foot zipline (fully adaptable for all mobility needs), a rock wall for all skill and mobility levels, horse riding, bocce ball, arts & crafts, family talent show, campfires & smores, morning yoga, music time… so much fun we can’t even list it all!
Thanks to our camp host, the Taylor Family Foundation, Camp TRI:21 is FREE to our attending families! DSACC just requires a refundable deposit of $100 which will be returned to you the first day of camp. If you register for camp and find yourself unable to attend, DSACC will refund the whole amount with notice a minimum of 10 days prior to leaving for camp.
Campers will be bussed to and from the DSACC office to the camp facility in Livermore, CA. Campers will share incredible, earth friendly cabins that sleep up to 12 people on bunk beds. Each cabin features a bathroom with a fully accessible shower, toilet and shared space. Camp also includes breakfast, lunch & dinner prepared on site and can be adaptable for dietary needs.
This opportunity is something we really hope you will enjoy! If you have questions or are interested in registering, please contact DSACC Staff at 559.228.0411, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
