Self-Advocate Tony Phillips was born in Denver, Colorado in 1981 and moved with his family to California when he was 4 years old. He has attended Fresno schools, and while at Bullard High School, he lettered in sports, something of which he is very proud. And, while he loved participating on teams, Tony reports that his least favorite class was history, “it was boring!” These days Tony has a job working for Diamond Learning Center and spends his spare time on his many hobbies, which include photography, writing and performing with Break the Barriers.
When asked why he serves on the Down Syndrome Association Board, he says “for the love of DSACC, of course!”
