Jeremy Bishel is a self-advocate, born right here in Fresno in 1977, who attended Madera High School. In high school, Jeremy was a sportsman and member of the swim team (his favorite subject in school) where he earned his sports letter. When asked what he liked the least at school, Jeremy replied, “the teasing”. Jeremy has become a successful member of the community, living independently and performing with Break the Barriers. He is hoping to add “working at a job” to his activities in the near future. And what does he do for fun? “I love to bake, chocolate cupcakes are my best thing!” Jeremy says.
“I like being on the board of DSACC because I like helping people and being with my friend Tony.”
